Resistances to change

Reflecting on change – the challenges of change, resistances to change, embracing change, and what helps with change.
1.Fear. You may fear the loss of the old and familiar. You may fear what could go wrong rather than what could go right. You may fear that change itself will be hard or overwhelming. You may fear the unknown, the uncomfortable, the unexpected. You may fear failure. Less conscious and acknowledged, but very possibly the case, you may even fear success and the changes that can come with that.
2. Perfectionism and control can get in the way of change. Change can involve risk, uncertainty, disorientation. There can be an uncharted wildness to change. If you have perfection or control issues you're going to struggle with the shifting, possibly unpredictable, sands of change.
3. The unknown might not be a comfortable prospect if you like safe, known situations and guaranteed outcomes. With change there are new shores ahead. Get excited about those and expect the best!
4. There can be challenges with change. Not always, not necessarily, but it's possible. There may be a steep patch to climb, you may need to build new muscles, check your footing, ask for help, etc. Those challenges, and what they awaken, develop or strengthen, are often actually a part of the many gifts change has to offer. It's as much the journey as the destination.
5. You may feel doubtful during any uncertainty accompanying change. Don't let your negative ego get in their with doubt talk. Explore options, reflect, review, navigate possibilities, get informed and prepared, but don't let doubt dampen your spirits or dilute your dreams.
6. You may fear losing something or someone with change. You may resist that potential loss despite the positive potentials of change. Ultimately, in letting go you can only ever win; if something's for your best it will come back, else something better will. Letting go, if that be part of your change, helps to create greater space for the new. That letting go may also be of beliefs, attitudes, pain, your past.
I recommend that when you are going through changes, stay positive and reflecting on something positive that may have come from any challenging or less than preferred situation, or something you are grateful for about that, and writing that down too if comes to mind - what you may want to change, as it is, may hold gifts and deeper meaning.

Chakras - Crown chakra

This is the 7th chakra
THE CROWN CHAKRA Colour: Violet Shape: Skull cap Organs and glands: Central nervous system, pineal gland, cerebral cortex Effective essential oils: Lavender, rosewood, clary sage, frankincense It is the Crown chakra that links us to the Divine and opens our spiritual energies. People whose chakra here is under-functioning or asleep have too much base energy and are often absorbed by the cares and fatigues of the world and daily living. They are entangled with noise and argument, with materialistic obsessions. The person whose Crown chakra is active and well functioning has a purpose to life and faith that life is good. They are open to what the universe has to offer and are receptive to new experiences. They have a spiritual energy that enables them to reach their higher self and to explore their spiritual nature. This is a highly sensitive chakra which needs to be opened with some care and awareness. Always remember that the Crown is directly linked with the Base chakra through the other energy centres. They must be connected. The crown chakra is the seventh chakra and it is at the top of the "chakra ladder" which starts from the root chakra that grounds us on the Earth and progresses upward to the Sahasrara (Sanskrit name: Sahasrana - thousand petal) which connects us with the universe and the Divine source of creation. When we realize that everything is interconnected and that we are part of the larger scheme of life, we begin to live with gratitude, faith and trust, rather than filled with fear and anxiety. We are guided by the higher power and we feel divinity from within and from without. The challenge of this chakra is to liberate the spirit - open to the divine - and at the same time stay firmly rooted deep in the ground. Crown Chakra Affirmations I am part of the Divine. I honor the Divine within me. I seek to understand and to learn from my life experiences. I cherish my spirit. I seek experiences that nourish my spirit. I listen to the wisdom of universe. I trust my intuition. I am open to letting go of my attachments. I live in the present moment. I am grateful for all the goodness in my life. I love and accept myself. I know that all is well in my world. I am connected with the wisdom of the universe. I am open to divine wisdom. My life moves with grace.

Aura and the colours of the aura

THE AURA
A person's aura surrounds them, surrounds their physical form. It is possible to sense and see the aura and to be aware of it but this requires a particular sensitivity to perceive. This is a perception which comes naturally and without thinking to some people but is possible for most people to develop if by carefully tuning, they open themselves to see and feel. It requires inner stillness in the healing person to centre themselves and to relinquish too much intellectual control which cleverly deceives the intuitive nature.
The aura is essentially an energy field transmitted from the physical, emotional and spiritual dimensions of a person. It surrounds in oval form the physical body and is layered with varying colours. Some people's colours glow vividly, others less so and some are very dim indeed. Some people's are well formed and healthy in the shape of an egg, others are misshapen and have tears and holes in them. An aura of a person who is not healthy will be misshapen and lop-sided.

A strong aura surrounding and going through a person gives them vital protection against disease and bacterial infection. This is why, when we are at a low ebb, and feeling emotionally and spiritually frail, we are likely to succumb to infection and disease and our immune system becomes weakened.
The aura is an energy field or, more exactly, several layers of subtle, non physical bodies: The etheric body, the astral body, the mental body and the causal body. It is the causal body which, as the layer furthest away from the physical body, absorbs Chi or Prana, the life source of all living beings.
The etheric body is an indicator of the state of person's emotional and physical health. It is the layer closest to the physical body and registers alteration in physical health very quickly. In turn this change is sensed in the astral, then the mental and eventually the causal body.

COLOURS OF THE AURA
This is to some extent an uncertain area because different people with strong clairvoyant abilities see auras in different ways and with different interpretations. There is, however, a general agreement that healthy auric colours have a glowing transparency whereas denser and muddier shadings suggest ill health and disease. Auras will certainly change colour and consistency according to our spiritual, emotional and physical well being at a given time. Sensitive healing therapists will be aware of these changes and their signifying of physical ill health before they reach the material body.
Most frequently the auric colours follow the sequence of the rainbow but it is rare for people to have them all, particularly the very spiritual colours. The colours red, orange and yellow are often considered to be the Life colours seen nearer the head. It may well reflect aggression and magnetism and for some very powerfully charismatic people, this colour will permeate the entire aura. Young people frequently have this colour or tinges of it in the aura which is associated with sexuality. The brighter and clearer the colour, the healthier and more positive the qualities will be, whereas the darker and less defined colour of red normally indicates greed and self-centredness.
Ambition is reflected in orange colouring and is often to be seen in people who thrive in positions of responsibility but again the darker the shading, the more likely it is that the person is frustrated in ambition.
Yellow is the colours of communication and most auras have this colour in varying degrees. A good, positive outlook on life will be reflected in vibrant yellow, with clear thought processes with a bright communicative manner. The darker yellows suggest people who have ideas with less practical connection, the daydreamers. Highly psychic personalities usually have a more golden colour of yellow emanating from them.
The colour green denotes harmony, love and peace but the brighter emerald green will suggest a creatively bright mind and a person at ease with life's material side. The darker greens may reflect deceitfulness and envy.
Blue is almost invariably present in people's auras and reflects artistic creativity and spirituality. A person with an ability to heal will often have lighter sky blue in their aura and the stronger blues reflect deeper spirituality.
Very rarely the colour violet appears in the aura but this seems to be reserved for extremely spiritual people who have their life's work dedicated to others in an almost totally unselfish way.
There are other non-rainbow colourings which appear for some clairvoyant people in other people's auras. Sometimes flecks of grey in the aura appear for personalities who are gifted at communicating and black will appear for people who are blocking out feeling or who have seriously bad intentions.

Clearing negative energies and shield your space

Moving into a new home or office  space can be a stressful, yet joyful time – so, you want to get off to a solid footing and be sure that you’re not channeling into someone else’s old energies as you move in. Perhaps you’ve been in your space for awhile and are ready to cleanse the past from your space.Or whether just feel you need to clear negative energies and you’re looking for a few ways to clear negative energies and protect your area from psychic invaders, here are a few ideas.

1.Burning and smudging with sage to clear negative energies
It is a good thing to do smudging with sage before moving anything into your new space to promote good vibes during the move in and renovation process. However, even your possessions – as forms of energy – can carry negativity, so burning sage after moving in can’t hurt.

2.Protection stones and crystal grids
Using protection stones and crystals to fend of negative energies is extremely important for those who are highly empathic people and especially for those living or working in connected structures such as condos, strip centers, or hi-rises. Typically, placing aligned crystals or stones in each corner of a space will offer shielding; however in the case of common walls you may want to create additional protections such as crystal grids.
Clear quartz is the most commonly used stone to facilitate the energy transfer between stones and minerals within a grid. It is this energy that connects transfer that increases the focusing abilities of the crystal grids points.

3.Create a sacred space
A sacred space is simply an area you create and designate as ‘sacred’ to you. It may be a small space with a few items of importance to you or a large, private space with an ‘altar’ laden with dozens of goodies you hold dear. It can be things like  shells, stones, crystals, musical instruments, candles, sand, pictures, posters,  to name a few items. Consider this your little ‘happy zone’ where you come to rebalance and center…an area that you keep off limits to others, which ensures it stays clear of negative energies.

You can cleanse your home or office in a dozen ways, but if your mind, body, and spirit aren’t clear of negative energies, to what end does it serve to protect beyond that?

Aromatherapy

What is aromatherapy? You probably heard about it already but let's see.
Aromatherapy is a holistic treatment, the aim of which is to produce a physical, spiritual, emotional and mental sense of well being through inhalation and massage of essential oils. The essential oils are derived from plants and are chosen for their particular therapeutic qualities which are stimulating, refreshing or sedative.
Aromatic herbs and oils that includes essential oils have been an important part of the spiritual practices of many religions and also cultures throughout the history. Its aim to release well being, harmony and improved mental and physical health.
Due to the rate of modern living, each day sees a further increase in the number of people suffering from the effects of stress. Noise, air pollution, financial problems, uncertainty about the future, all contribute to the general stress situation from which there is no escape.
Where we  are concerned, stress produces a state of muscular tension - the heart is made to work harder - valuable energy is burned up unnecessarily - we become fatigued and sometimes depressed, and our resistance to infection and disease is drastically reduced.

The causes of stress are here to stay, we can only deal with the effects of stress through the management of treatments, specially designed to relax away tension, restore vitality, and reduce the workload of the heart, nerves, etc. And such treatments nearly always include massage. Since massage affects circulation of the blood, the muscles, the nervous system, and organs of the body, massage can greatly reduce pain in many arthritic and rheumatic conditions, it can hasten a number of the body's processes for healing, and actually change a person's psychological mood.

The inhaled aroma from these "essential" oils is widely believed to stimulate brain function. Essential oils can also be absorbed through the skin, where they travel through the bloodstream and can promote whole-body healing.

Difference between spirit and ghost

Many people are not sure about what is the difference between spirit and ghost? Some are confused if there is any difference at all?At some point they are the same but they are not.Let me explain it why.

Spirits are people who have passed and crossed over into the light.Lot of mediums use terms like 'crossing over into the light', which means that when a person dies, they pass quickly through the passage of light into the spirit world.Once they passed into the spirit world and through the light, they become 'spirits' .The Light is merely the doorway to the spirit realm or guides the deceased into the afterlife. There are spirits who come back to visit their family they left behind but they are based in the spirit world, on a constant basis.Spirits in the spirit world, are going through a life review learning process after that they are able to come and go between the physical world and Afterlife.

Ok, so now the meaning of  ghosts. As I said above they are the same at some point and that is that ghosts are deceased people too.The difference is that when the person dies, they  choose not to cross over, it can be many reason why not. It is usually because they dont realise they are dead, they might need help to cross over, or it is because the person is confused, and doesn't realise the light is for them to go into. It might be the case of guilt or traumatic death is the cause choosing not to cross over. So in this case the ghost "is" stuck between the physical world and Afterlife.

Forgiveness

Forgiveness...why is it important and how can it affect you?
Forgiveness means "The mental, or spiritual process of ceasing to feel resentment, indignation or anger against another person for a perceived offense, a difference or mistake, or ceasing to demand punishment or restitution." by Wikipedia.

To forgive someone doesn't mean we are approving, or accepting what someone else did.
Forgivness is about setting yourselve free, that means you are releasing the past so it does not have any control over your feelings or thoughts.

So when you forgive others you can enjoy the benefits of it.There are many reasons to forgive and will help you see why you should do it:

  • Unforgiveness stands by you and God.God has forgiven for all of us as sees us as righteous. So if God can forgive us for all the awful things we have done, then you can do that too.
  • Holding onto negative and hurtful thoughts, and bitterness can affect your health and also it will not allow you to move on and open new things in life.
  • To forgive someone is only a benefit for you, not for the person you are forgiving. If you feel like a victim, you are carrying a heavy burden.Once you put it down, just simply walk away free.
  • If you decide to carry this burden, anger, and hurt for many years, it will not take you further and as mentioned above will not open new doors for you.On the other hand, it can affect your health and causes problems.
  • Forgiveness helps us grow.Once forgiveness is done, you will feel easier and will have more time for positive thoughts in your life.
  • Resentment and bitterness can cause serious illnesses....
  • Forgiveness can lead to have a healthier relationships, have a  greater spiritual and psychological well being, less anxiety and stress, fewer symptoms of depression...
How to forgive....
  • Consider the value of forgiveness and the importance of it in your life
  • Reflect on the facts of the situation, how it affected you and your health, how you reacted to it...
  • When you are ready to forgive to the person who hurt you, choose to forgive...
  • After that move away from being a victim, release the control and the power that the person who offended and hurt you and what this has caused in your life
The bottomline is that in order to live a less stressful and healthier life, you have to learn to forgive others. It improves your spiritual, mental, psyhical and emotional life.
